The Cupid
Ugarte created this little poem about the cute little cupid in King’s Quest 4.
KING’S QUEST 4’S
“THE CUPID”
BY UGARTE
Rosella walked through the forest
And reached a pool of water
Where a cupid sat and rest
With its bow and arrows nearby.
To her surprise, Cupid flew away
Leaving the bow and arrows there
So Rosells walked to them
And picked them up to keep.
Hmmm, thought Rosella.
The arrows have hearts at the ends
Instead of deadly arrowheads.
What could this mean, she thought.
The heart only meant love
So what would happen if the arrow
Happens to hit someone?
I am not sure, Rosella thought.
I must continue my quest, she thought
As she left with the bow and arrows
Wondering what they could do
And where the magic fruit could be.
