A Lone Heart

Frustrated created this little poem about Valanice and Graham in King’s Quest 2.

KING’S QUEST 2’S
“A LONE HEART”
BY FRUSTRATED

can there be an escape for me
from this tower of ivory
a hero bold, in search of gold
would face a million dangers untold
yet still more hardships surround this place
O, would that i could see my hero’s face

a mirror stirs, then silence falls
and no more disturbs the castle’s walls
ah! lonely king, with wand’rin heart
upon this lonely journey start
but lovely bride, her tears they flow
what is her pain? O, could he know!

a tower distant, strong and fair
upon the seashore, resting there
the maiden weeps in solitude
the scene which poor king once had viewed
he knows he has his maiden sweet
o lonely king, once more complete
